Wagonner’s stable

Room Description

Originally this stable housed the Wagonner’s cart. It faces east to catch the morning sun and to prevent the wagon’s wooden wheels from drying out after feeding the narrowboat horses from the canal. This beautifully renovated Wagonner’s stable looks out on to the cobble-stoned courtyard through the original arched opening now framed by a pear tree. This room retains the original beams and has reclaimed pine floor boards. It includes an en-suite bathroom with shower, heated towel rail and a genuine edwardian wash basin that sits in the original manger.
